    How a candidate melody measures up against its plan: violations that judge it, and a fit reading per structural dimension.

    There is no aggregate: the fields never fold into one score, the same way ReferenceComparison does not.

    Type Declaration

      Likeness of the phrases' melodic outlines to their planned shapes.

    • register: number | null

      Likeness of the phrases' registers to the planned ones.

    • onset: number | null

      Likeness of where the melody's onsets fall.

    • duration: number | null

      Likeness of the melody's inter-onset-interval distribution.

    • syncopation: number | null

      Likeness of the melody's syncopation.

    • density: number | null

      Likeness of the melody's onsets per bar to the phrases' planned densities.
